No big deal here, IMHO. INTC has a very powerful ally in this area - Nokia. Nokia is a global leader in hand held devices of any kind, and has put a lot of its R&D and marketing resources behnd a hand held digital communications and computing device. The product is powered by Intel circuitry/microprocessor. There was a release on the topic back in March, I think, and I wrore about it under this thread. This small computer/phone will capture the European market not only because of Nokia's position there, but because of the proliferation of digital wireless networks over there, as opposed to analog ones in the USA. Sales of the hand held computer/phone are expected to be in the millions of units by some time next year. I am sure INTC has a plan for the US market as well, unless our market is not that lucrative at this point.

Hope that helps.
