Expedia- you might want to avoid these guys.

My sister in law had some issues with them when she and my brother in law went to Costa Rica. She had one of her hotels booked through them, and then Expedia wrote and said the reservation had to be cancelled. So she booked another hotel. The original hotel wrote her up as a no-show. Expedia would not refund the money. She had one hell of a fight over this- but her credit card company backed her.

I figured it was a one off, though. So when I got a great Expedia deal for Lisbon in my in-box, I called Expedia, and booked it. I asked for a special class for the flight- and asked 3 or maybe 4 times, for the agent to absolutely positively verify this- and then when I got the reservation, it was wrong. So immediately I called to cancel. They were going to (initially) try to hold me to an incorrect reservation. When I got to a supervisor, he not only gave me my money back, but some extra money to compensate for my time and annoyance- but still, the first "go to" for this company was to sandbag and stall and not give me money when I'd been sold something different from what I ordered. I've never had an issue with Travelocity- we booked part of our 2013 Amsterdam trip with them, all of our 2015 Berlin trip (package- air and hotel) and part of our 2016 and 2017 trips (hotels only, for those). I'll probably stick with Travelocity and AirBNB from now on. Never had a problem with either.
