*** TA Update (intra-day) *** As expected, the countertrend rallies have failed and we are declining to the lows of the session. While a late "rat-tail" is likely in the last 5-10 minutes, the market internals and technicals will look bad at the close, and will bring my technical indicators the brink of a technical sell signal in all probability. The TRIN for the Nasdaq is 1.45, with the stochastics still flat and uncrossed. The a/d is 1578/2202, near the worst levels of the session, and up/down volume is 1/2 on light volume of 1.4B shares. The Dow has failed to break out above 11,000 and the Nasdaq above 2300, so this does not portend well. And the Oscillator will be well below +100 after the close today, and may get below the zero line very soon unless we have a miraculous rally Monday that succeeds...
