I would guess that you are telling the truth and could prove it if you had too.

But really that requires several coincidences not just one.

First the timeing has got to be in milliseconds

a offers to buy 32 shares, b decides to sell him the shares, jon decides to sell 500 shares. Jon beats b to the sale but before it can execute b's order is posted ahead of Jons order of 468 shares left. That makes for the milisecond phenomena, Now Jon cancels and b cancels so that when Jon cancels his order and checks ISLAND all 500 shares are gone.

Even if that happened, you still have the error of orders moving backwards in the que when a partial executes against them.

It does boggle the mind doesn't it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
