Here is something more on BRCM. It is an indicator to watch...as you point out. exchange2000.com Herschel Said: "Sounds like AWARE's business model, but on the cable side. LOOK AT THE INTEREST IN THIS ONE! Don't these investors realize that cable modems are going to die a slow death just like BETA vs VHS in the VCR market!! ADSL will kill cable modems. " You are welcome to your opinion of course, however, the likes of Bill Gates, Paul Allen and more don't share it. There will be many ways we will get these services...cable will be one of them for sure. Don't forget cable is a means to by-pass the RBOCs...and it is many times faster than DSL Lite.
