soup and all, I just returned from Frey's Electronics here in Los Angeles. Frey's is a consumer electronics chain in California. The store I went to in the San Fernando Valley was one of the 8 stores that was visited by an Apple 18-wheeler, with Mac OS 8 plastered all over the trailer. I got my copy at 6 pm Sunday. There were two left on the end display. According to the salesperson I spoke with, they had moved about 400 units since 8 am, Saturday morning. I asked him what he thought about the action and he replied: "Buy Apple stock." Given the location and the promotion, I'm see this as probably one of the best situations for OS 8 sales, but I still thinks it sounds pretty good. Scott
