E4 complements its CoolDVD line

Elecede Technologies Inc., better known as E4, this month added two products to its CoolDVD line.

Last week E4 unveiled the CoolDVD Mac DVD Playback Card. Due June 30 for $279, the package consists of a PCI MPEG-2 decoder card and Digital Video Disc titles.

The new MPEG-2 and DVD card will play DVD-Video on Power Mac G3 systems with built-in DVD-ROM drives.

Earlier this month E4 introduced its CoolDVD Mac SCSI DVD-ROM Upgrade Kit, due June 15 for $549. The product requires a Mac system equipped with a 120-MHz PowerPC 603 processor or better. Both products will support multiple languages, subtitles and Dolby Pro Logic surround sound.
