I flipped past CBC Radio on the way in this morning, and they were interviewing somebody on the Kingston (?) police force, where they've started to collect racial data for each police stop. The interviewer was tying herself up in knots: "well isn't the fact that you're collecting information on race in fact racial profiling?" It's gone beyond silly now.
