Re: the NC The Cyrix boxes that run at 133mhz are 486-derived. Yech. They may be able to pull in some novices though, as Cyrix does funny things with their monikers (they call their 486 lineages 586's, Pentiums 686's, and the P200+ does not run at 200mhz). The killer portable hardware will allow me to surf the web and get my stock quotes, and be smaller than a Newton. Unfortunately, the reliable, cheap wireless network is not in place yet. Have you checked the price and availability of the PPro lately? infoworld.com
