To all those leaving for summer vacation, let me recommend
some light hearted reading:

FIDELITY'S WORLD: The Secret Life and Public Power of the
Mutual Fund Giant

by Diana B. Henriques

Interesting quote on page 35 (Chapter 1)

"But Hendry's task would have been far easier, he said,
if that long, ugly, and extremely expensive proxy fight
had never occurred - if Fidelity had backed him from the
beginning, as it had promised to do in the September
agreement.

'I never could understand it,' Henry said looking back on
his only experience dealing with the mutual fund giant.

'Fidelity just seemed to be a place where telling lies was
a way of life.'"

Now, why would Diana B. Henriques write such mean-spirited
information?
