Hi Arik, yes--we did get the continuation sell signal allright

However, the market reaction since then in Asia and Europe does not bode well for its accuracy.

This is the second one since the last buy signal --the one which turned out to be a bad signal.

I don't know wheher you saw a couple of posts by Nancy on the options thread, in which she suggested that AG may in effect have created a floor of sorts with his recent pronouncement--at least for the time being. I think that she may be right and is on to something.

I saw your post that you thought that the rally in the globex last night fitted into the wave structure--and given that waves are not something that I have ever focused on, I shall bow to your superior knowledge. Time will tell--my sense is that we are now likely to rally strongly for a few day and retrace part of the decline--but still a rally within a down-trend. Don't lose sight of the fact that rallies within bear markets--assuming that we are in one-- are short and can be very powerful, so much so that there may be some level of belief that we are back in a bull trend. Also, given that we are very over-sold and sentiment is so bearish, I shall play this rally, if it occurs -- without hesitation--even as I get ready to short at higher prices.

Hope that you had a good weekend.
