It sounds like you are using a spreadsheet as a database. Personal experience is that a database would better handle that much data. Access is microsofts's main data base program, and is, to me, a difficult program to master. simpler data bases, such as the old Fox, or Work's data base are ok, but maybe not for that many names. i am not a database expert. larry
