The NY Times little clipping about VVUS spending
5M on a advertising campaign was worth 3 3/4 points
last week. It was buried so deep it took two days
for everyone to find it. If (the secont day, sept 3)
PW hadn't jumped in
with 3Q estimates of .20 when FC has it at .29
and zack .27, it probably would have done even better.

With that said: With a "busness wire" announcement,
"NOW MANY POINTS IS THE UK APPROVAL GOING TO BE WORTH?"

On VVUS conference call of 7/9/97, with VVUS CEO & CFO
VVUS said: First international approval expected in
UK - approval hard to predict but "IMMINENT" and
possibly could be in a few week.

That few weeks should be about up by how. Any day now,
-HOLD ON - this is going to be fun.
