Since Intel chose not to comment on Q3 earnings, it would be fair to assume that their previous prediction is on track. Unlike AMD, Intel has been forthright and honest in guiding shareholder expectations, usually slightly conservatively. See John Hulls reply #30028 to this thread. I would be very nervous shorting this stock before earnings.
