Similar heartache to me. I had a stop order placed on a stock, the price traded through, The next day I received no confirm of a fill, so I sold the stock at market, the next day I noticed that the original stop order WAS filled and now I am short. I even was on the phone at each step of the way, verifying with a broker what I thought was transpiring, and he agreed that the stop order did not fill. It seems it was my fault when the mm who was to blame by not providing a timely report back to AMTD that my stop was filled. BTW, it was a stop order, not a stop limit order. I lost money on the trades, but the only thing AMTD would do is refund my Comm. I use market orders because they will fill even 10 sec before the bell.
