If its a momentum pos, I would cut my loses and reshort at a later time.

if its a true GTZ like LNUX, I would wait it out.

It is always very important not to be fully invested.
Always leave some powder dry for special occasions.

What I like doing on GTZ long-term shorts is slowly average in for a core position. Then trade with some additional trading shares to lower my cost.

Also, the overall market has a lot to do with the decision.
In a giant bull run, even the worst pos will run for quite some time.

Try to look where major resistance levels are and maybe put a stop loss just above.

Like I said, totally depends on the stock and the situation.
