DG, the CBOE provides a calculator for figuring implied volatility. cboe.com I use fundamentals to identify a theme. Then I use technicals to identify a price target for a given time. I look for zones of disequalibrium as support and resistance. Then I find the option which provides the optimum return to my target. Then I try to time my trade in a period of low volatility. Tim
