nihil, your right on. I have a 125 (overdrive processor) and need to upgrade my laptop (486/25) for a P233 MMX, I can't justify a new desktop until the performance really improves. This is one of the main reasons I can't see that INTEL will really have a big jump until then. The faster chip for the laptop is a step forward, but will not make the difference like adding real speed to the desktop computer. Long on INTC..... :-) Bill
