Thanks for suggestion but I've tried that. In checking all the folders on my computer I discovered I now have three My Document folders in different places. They are all similar.
In My Documents folder I had a subfolder called My Pictures with a few Jpegs in it. This subfolder is now showing up in My Documents folder but likewise it is empty. At this point I am stymied.
