I just picked this up on rumors Me too; once again, I was just looking around and thought you'd be interested...is it old news? Steve Jobs to Become Chairman of the Board Next week, or at Macworld Expo, Apple will officially announce that Steve Jobs will become the Chairman of the Board for Apple Computer, a job that was vacated when Gil Amelio resigned. Many people have agreed that the position of Chairman would be best for Jobs, as it would give him a leadership role without being paricularly responsible for the day to day workings of the company. Despite the problems with Steve Jobs, there can be no question that he is charismatic, and a charismatic visionary could be just what Apple needs right now. msb
