In Elmats case, it's difficult to answer the question accurately.

Effectively, if Elmat asked the Iranian authorities to stop nuclear testing, would the snoops who probably watch every move he makes, stop him from posting on SI?

Who is to say??

Sometimes you have to wonder about "intelligence" agencies. Like whose side are they really on when they plan false flag operations (for example).
