SAP is a German company. The "language" you are thinking about is probably SAP R/3 software which is not a language per se, but rather an enterprise application framework. I am not sure exactly what it does, but my understanding is that there is lot of demand for people who can customize it, integrate it with existing applications etc... and it pays very well. So SAP R/3 training will indeed be very useful in the job market.
