I've installed (finally) XP Pro over ME and didn't remove NAV 2003 because I read somewhere that it would survive the update. Well, it didn't, so I went to remove it and got this error: 4002,516. I looked it up on Symantec site and it said it could be caused by either virus or upgrade from ME to XP. Ruling out the virus as none was detected before install, I'm betting on the upgrade problem. It says to run Rnav.exe which will remove all remnants of all Nav programs (Nav 2002 is still on there too), but there is no removal program listed for 2003.

Do you think I should still use it for 2002 removal?

One note. I tried to reinstall Nav 2003 after removing it and the install rolled back due to fatal error. There is no Nav 2003 shown in add/remove programs in Control panel.

Any ideas what steps to take from here?

Thanks for any help.

Jerry

I went to find that and it
