Smil'n Bob (Who I notice is doing less smil'n and more shrug'n) laid the blame entirely on the Secret Service and resolutely defended the WH staff. But it should be noted that the woman who used to perform the task of making the guest list and checking it thrice (at the gate) was fired earlier this year - Bush hold over.
