Can someone explain to me why Internet support has to be within the operating system? I am using Windows 95 with a separate stand alone browser and it works fine. Why does it have to be part of the operating system? --- I remember the following from years past: "Can someone explain to me why TCP/IP support has to be within the operating system? I am using Trumpet Winsock with Win 3.1..." I have a hard time imagining someone buying a computer today NOT wanting WWW support in the box. - Eric (all JMHO, of course)
