thall: When Mxam filed with the SEC in conjunction with the warrants, the filing showed they had little money. I don't think they've sold additional shares since then, except maybe a few they issued to pay consultants. So, I don't think they have much investor's money to spend.

Therefore, why would they spend money generated from shares of IPM (if they had it)? Because Runyon holds most of the Maxam shares and he would profit with the rest of the stock holders if Maxam were to go into production.

I have no idea what the answer is to your questions about Hewlett.
