Here's another thought. If our goal is to keep normality (to borrow a word from Douglas Adams) and we do not wish to see stocks spike (or surge) then wouldn't the countdown To June 1st, just do the opposite. If, in fact there are people watching, waiting, to see if the site will be up, would this not cause the stock to do this. On the one hand , if it isn't up, people have said they will bail. Downtick I imagine on the other hand, if it is up and running, won't that open up the gates. Do I have this wrong. No offence intended.
