Same Store Sales Increase for February 1998

SAN MARCOS, Calif., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Play Co. Toys & Entertainment Corp. (OTC
Bulletin Board: PLCO - news; ''Play Co. Toys'') today announced that its same store sales in the
month of February 1998 were up by 44.6 percent, over the sales of February 1997. Comparison
of same store sales is a common business indicator used by retailers.

Richard Brady, President of the Company, stated, ''We are very pleased with the Company's
operating performance in February. All of our continuing stores posted a sales gain over February
1997 levels. We believe that our specialty toy mix in particular helped contribute to this strong sales
increase.''

Play Co. Toys is a toy retailer with 19 stores located in southern California and Arizona. The
Company operates under the Play Co. Toys, Toys International and Toy Co. tradenames. Play Co.
Toys specializes in offering educational, promotional, specialty, and collectible toys.
