Surely you jest. Before all is said and done, this "era" will be remembered as the most well orchestrated distribution of wealth in the history of this country.

As the brokerage houses and analysts kept telling everyone to average down, and buy and hold for the long term, they were pocketing millions in fees from the very companies that they were supposed to be objectively reporting on, allowing the insiders to sell millions of shares to the unsuspecting public, making even the most well educated investor look like a janitor on work-release from a mental institution.

And it is far from over. Yes, many are already down 90%, but there are still many, many more companies out there doing it all over again. Lather, rinse, repeat. Oh the sadness of it all.
