Transcendental Market Fragments:

The Market:

The overall decline is that of a slow crash.

Nasdaq-100 (December 2008 E-Mini):

Nasdaq-100 shows a contracting triangle, followed by a thrust to the downside late yesterday. That should end this leg down soon.

Bonds:

The 30-year bond futures has been stubbornly holding its support line, so I don't have confirmation of a major, long term trend change in that market just yet. But, the bond hasn't shown much strength in the face of massive weakness in the stock market.

Gold:

Gold has taken over the traditional safe haven status from Treasury Bonds over the last few days. That most likely represents a signal of future strength in the Gold Market over the next year and a long overdue massacre in the Bond Market.
