This whole debacle with the attack on the Capitol will take time to age.
As it does the facts will settle, they will become lees, there will be clarity.
The trials, the attack, the election recount antics, the frivolous lawsuits, all of it will settle.
What is left is going to be a vintage poison for the Republican brand in America.
It has only been 6 or 7 weeks, nothing is likely to change in that time frame, but the action has started.
And it will gain traction, people will see it clearly, those voting against America are going to know it.
Little events like this are just the tip of an emotional iceberg, the sack of the Capitol is going to get charged.
As the character of the participants and the planning of the attack solidifies, the detestation will grow. |
