The markets will be interesting this week. Any threat of rising rates will likely kill everything. We shall see.

Rates are going to rise, no question. Just a matter of when.

I just closed on a refi on a fixed rate loan at 5%. Had been in a 7/1 ARM that has been fixed until this year. I suspect it would have adjusted down initially, but I did not want to be exposed to hikes in the future resulting from inflation and the accompanying rising interest rates.
