Tuck - "P&P" - probably stands for "Policies and Procedures." Similarly, there are Therapeutics and Formulary committees. All basically gatekeepers for HMO's and insurance companies who decide what drugs they will cover and at what level. Nice article, particularly considering when it was written. I don't think we're generally at similarly distressed levels today, though. If nothing else, most companies have a bunch of cash sitting in their coffers. IMGN at less than a buck was certainly a good deal - today I think it's still a good deal at over ten times that, although of course it is a very different company now. Peter
