I will take the devil's advocate position just for grins.

From what i remember during the fabled cable versus
DSL debates, one of the arguments for cable was that
2/3 of US households had it (albeit not 2-way). But
the problem w/cable is that there is precious little
of the coax overseas. So, if cable grabs a substantial
chunk of the US market, overseas may actually be a much
larger market.

A counter to this is that the presence of cable in the US
will mean that DSL will be deployed alot faster here than
anywhere else in the world, and therefore the US will be
far and away the biggest market initially.

Which will it be? I think it makes sense for DMT to focus
overseas given these realities, but it would be nice if
the whole world had a standard.
