Every mining company operating in the United States is required to report their production to a federal agency. This has been the law for over 100 years. Up until this year that agency was the Bureau of Mines. Now it is the Geological Survey. This information is kept confidential and is not subject to the freedom of information act. However, a report is printed each year and sufficient information presented to summarize mineral production in the US. This covers everything from clay to sand and gravel. No platinum is being produced in Az unless it is byproduct from copper and it is reported as by product from AZ. So if your companies are producing and not reporting they are breaking federal laws.

Good luck!
