The reason Q3 earnings are estimated to be "lower" than Q3 in 1995 is because 1995 Q3 Earnings included non-recuring income from royalty settlements. If you probe deeper, you'll find that earnings estimates for income derived from operations (the meat and potatos of any company) are actually being estimated to be higher for Q3 1996 than for Q3 1995. That was also the case for Q2 1996 vs. Q2 1995. AXC seems to be on a good uptrend and I really don't think we'll see $6/share anytime soon. Just my thoughts.
