Thanks Adam....I think many of us are wondering and seeing the same things....The really odd thing, I think, is that Paul Allen has not been visible AT ALL....Even in the Microsoft debacle....He is still a very large shareholder, and it seems that at least someone in the press would have contacted him, or at least reported that they tried...and I see NO press releases about the matter. Are his investment decisions made totally by Bill Savoy?
It does seem to me that the firms on Wall Street who helped to bring these companies public, would at least know who the other major investors were in EACH of them.
I also think that Mr. Allen must have an ego (why else would he put an album that he has made on his web site....
www.paulallen.com) It would certainly seem that any investor who has the kind of money he does invested in these companies would be more than a little upset with the performance to date.
I do have several of these stocks, including HSAC, TSCN, STMP, CLKS, GNET, CHTR..... I can't believe they are all mismanaged. I KNOW that GNET isn't..... so what is it....
It would be interesting to compare the public investments of Bill Gates, George Soros, Warren Buffett and Paul Allen for the last year. Maybe we could start a new board....
