just FYI- I think I just had the H1N1 flu- and the strain I had wasn't bad at all. Sure, I was miserable for about 30 hours- sore throat, fever (at it's highest around 39.6)
These are the symptoms I had them all:
What are the signs and symptoms of this virus in people? The symptoms of 2009 H1N1 flu virus in people include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. A significant number of people who have been infected with this virus also have reported diarrhea and vomiting.
But I have to tell you, compared to the '88 flu I picked up in China, and the '93 flu I got in Tahoe, this one was NOTHING. I'm much better already, and I didn't really have to go to bed until Friday morning- and even then I managed to go to school and get my room ready for the sub. Several of my students have had it, I think, and I suspect I caught it from one girl who threw up during class. |
