just FYI- I think I just had the H1N1 flu- and the strain I had wasn't bad at all. Sure, I was miserable for about 30 hours- sore throat, fever (at it's highest around 39.6)

But I have to tell you, compared to the '88 flu I picked up in China, and the '93 flu I got in Tahoe, this one was NOTHING. I'm much better already, and I didn't really have to go to bed until Friday morning- and even then I managed to go to school and get my room ready for the sub. Several of my students have had it, I think, and I suspect I caught it from one girl who threw up during class. |
