James - Re:" until you're up

This remark is completely uncalled for. Jules has shown himself to be one of the most knowledgeable investors in tech funds that I have encountered on this forum.

There may be a nit to pick regarding what options/shares/warrants are included in Intel's EPS estimates, but my guess is that it is not known exactly to Intel and us at this time.

First, employees with exercisable stock options DO NOT HAVE to exercise the options until they choose to exercise them (once they are vested). Bear in mind that these stock options all have expiration dates, beyond which they cannot be exercised (if some options holder neglects/chooses not to exerecise). Thus, Intel can't predict exactly when and how many employee stock options will be exercised, except by estimation from the expiration dates - which can stretch many years into the future.

Employee stock participation shares are more predictable - the strike price is known (more or less) six months in advance and the number of shares to cover these is probably easier to predict. The issuance of these shares is also fixed at six month intervals.

Regarding the warrants - I haven't a clue how Intel accounts for these and I own a bunch of them. I just know that they are worth some bucks.

My guess is that Jules owns a bunch of these also, as well as the common stock. His contributions and analysis regarding Intel as a technological leader, and investment opportunity, should place him in the highest esteem of all investors who follow this forum.
