I pay the money
Crouched on cold cold porcelain
furrowed brow
every fiber of my being strains peristaltically
I put the comic down to concentrate on my work.
I said 'merde' too soon.
A clap of thunder
A great wind comes
Devoid of substance.
The cannon fired
But the shot forgot
I see now the paper's gone.
Sometimes an ill wind blows good.
