YES!!!! A truly bipartisan acquittal of the President!!!! William Jefferson Clinton remains the PRESIDENT of the U.S.A.!!!! Yeeeeeeeee-haaaaaa!!!! VICTORY!!!! How SWEET it is!!!! On a more serious note, it is only fitting that this happened on President Lincoln's birthday. The grand old man will be very pleased to know that the attempts to assassinate one of his successor Presidents were foiled today! What a great birthday gift to good ol' Abe! To those of us who are in Washington and its environs -- I request you to please take time to visit the Lincoln Memorial, kneel down and pay your respects to the giant. And don't forget to express your gratitude that even though President Lincoln is gone for more than a hundred years, his spirit is still around and that is what protected us and our country from being run over by the moral midgets of today... My eyes are getting misty with tears... Gotta go now.
