heehee - If it is, it's not as clear cut as I'd like it to be for my tastes. I'll defer to Dr. B on this, but I've always considered the signal from a normal H&S formation to be invalid within a downtrend. Same thing would apply to an inverse H&S in an uptrend, they are not reversal signals if they appear within countertrends BWTHDIK. Iowa will just love this inconsistency of interpretations, but that's my recollection from the class of '72. The Dow looks like the stairway to my 3rd floor right now. I wonder what's going to happen over the last hour now that the shorts have been caught with their puts down?
