Holiday seasons in recent memory have been controlled by traders (and that means mainly shorts) but when the big boys come back to the office they usually reverse the traders momentum. I'm not expecting miracles but just a re-balancing of cautious longterm optimism versus extreme pessimism. I think what has just happened in recent months is the realization that we're still 2-4 quarters off from a real recovery in technology where last spring the notion was that the 4th quarter would be the time. But now I'd say another lousy quarter or two has been well priced in. Not for the faint of heart to be long here only for the patient. And keep some cash. But I wouldn't be short just to get that extra 100 down on the Naz. It may never happen.
