Donald, I have been reading your posts for quite a few months. I learn a lot from them. When you buy index options do you normally buy deep in the money options? The NDX options you mentioned are deep in the money. What about XAL puts you bought, How did it work out? I always wanted to do index options, but I was afraid of the premium. Could you explain what are reasonable premiums and how do you go by selecting the strike price. Thank you very much. Do you think it is better to buy msft puts or sell naked calls? Probably deep in the money puts to avoid premium.
Thank you
