Would you happen to have an Office type program that allows multiple pastes open at the time? It could be tied to that somehow? Some mice have the ability to C & P. Does yours? A workaround may be to use CTRL+C to copy and then CTRL+V to paste. That works quite often when a right click offers no paste function.
