Dave, I normally buy in the money calls, less to worry about time-premium loss, but of course you can lose more if it really tanks. The XAL PUTS are now close to break even, I got in 2 days early due to a darn miscalculation. I wanted to be in one day early, not 2 days early. It would take a long time to determine fair value of options at various strike prices, and I am not that knowledgable in that area as others here. Sorry. Seeya
