re: That's because Edwards isn't playing the game properly.....oh well.

It's absolutely imperative to the Reps that NOBODY challenges the legitimacy of the "war on terror". If people doubt that, the whole house of cards comes down.

Makes sense.......their whole image as the nation's defenders has weakened dramatically in the last couple of years. Undermining the war on terror would be the last straw.

*That's why Bush justifies it in every single speech, wrapping himself in the cloak of 9/11/01.

*That's why when a Ron Paul or an Edwards minimizes the "war on terror" they are vilified, mocked and treated with contempt from every corner.

*That's why nobody in the media even suggests that the "war on terror" might be a sham.

They're afraid of the big bad Republicans. Too bad.

*That's why the phrase "war on terror" is repeated over and over and over and over... there can be no doubt, nobody left standing that minimizes the threat. It's heresy.

That one card pulls down the neocon house. When will the US wake up from this dream?

Dream? I see it as a nightmare.
