Yes, although I don't believe that Phillips has changed one iota from the philosophical underpinnings that he has had since the days he first broke with the Republican establishment with "The Politics of Rich and Poor" in 1991 (as I recall). Rather, it is the Republican Party under the influence of the neo-cons, the religious Right and Bush, Jr. that has completely run off the tracks and is leading this nation into a disaster of epic proportions.
