Greg, I don't think an aquisition will take place (I could be wrong) because the GERN mgnt. put to high of a value on their contributions to finding a telomerase inhibitor. Unless they ask much less than they thought they were worth about a year ago. I think that the NCI or some other entity will encourage them to take a partner to complete their obligation to some grant they may have- for example their NCDDG. The phase 1 question is not ultimately a long term problem- its just one that they will need help in solving. louis mason
