I'll take a few shares of AHM.

Stock's about $30 now.

Friedman Billings predicts '06 div. to be over $4. That'd be my hope. I'll guess though that their predictions and my hopes often don't come to be.

Still, IF $4 is realistic, then I'll bet the stock might trade at 10% yield sometime in '06, thus providing a good dividend and a cap. gain. OTOH, the stock might trade in '06 on dividend expectation for '07 - and that dividend might be down from '06. So the stock might go nowhere or down from current price.

Munder funds are in this and from what I read, pretty confident about business prospects (dividend). I like their confidence: they say the've owned the company for a number of years and that it's still undervalued. They may be right - or wrong. I do not know.

I'll go for a few shares, but only a few. I'm just not a big fan of these mreits. (When assets are paper and smart guys' brains are working on gaining advantages or profits from arbitrages, hedges, swaps, etc. - I get nervous.)
